Pastor Michael Brooks
In 1986 Michael founded the Steller award winning female group “Witness” producing and writing the material over the years on all (11) of their projects. He has also produced (2) solo projects on his wife the renown Lisa Page Brooks, and worked with a plethora of different artist in the gospel music arena over his successful career often serving as a mentor through his Young Artist for Christ workshops like: John P. Kee, Yolanda Adams, Lexi, and Byron Cage to name a few. Michael has also been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition, he has a Dove, Steller, and (3) Gospel Music Excellence awards. He has also been nominated for the Grammy award (4) times. Our God predestines the lives of his people. As such, his plan for Michael would only begin with music. After accepting his call to ministry and serving as an associate minister, Pastor Brooks heeded the call of God and founded Restoration Fellowship Church International; he envisioned people coming from many different walks of life and ethnicities with varied issues encountering the power of God. The vision manifested itself initially in the form of a radio broadcast and then blossomed into the first service held in the Ramada hotel of Southfield MI. Since its humble beginnings the church has experienced great success in its ministry endeavors. By the hand of God and through the vision he birthed in Pastor Brooks; Restoration Fellowship Church International has developed specialized ministry exploits that are effectuating change in the lives of people both near and far. Kingdom Kids Life, Youth Challenge, Restored Women Sharing with its retreats and conferences, Life Change men’s fellowship, prison ministry as well as the dynamic music ministry through our praise and worship aggregation Royal Priesthood are all components to the RFCI vision. God has done and continues to do great things in the life of RFCI and Michael Brooks, he proclaims; “The Spirit of God is moving and impacting the nations of the world, all of us must be sensitive to his voice so that we can be a part of the Father’s agenda impacting our sphere of influence. |

Music is one of the greatest vehicles through which praise and worship is carried. Pastor Michael A. Brooks is a minister of music who remains at the forefront of gospel music’s elite songwriter/producers. As one of the founding members of the award winning group Commissioned, Michael produced the first (6) album projects and also penned hits like; I’m Going On, Love Isn’t Love, Unworthy, Will You Be Ready, If My People, and many, many others that are to numerous to name.
